big woosah
man·da·la
/ˈmandələ/ noun
a geometric figure representing the universe in Hindu and Buddhist symbolism; a symbol in a dream, representing the dreamer’s search for completeness and self-unity.
I discovered zen doodles about 10 years ago, learning quickly that the meditative process of drawing mandalas is an exercise of both repetition and forgiveness. The goal is not to achieve perfection but to appreciate that in her imperfection there is beauty.
This painting is 36 inches wide by 36 inches tall. It is painted in acrylic on archival-quality natural cotton canvas, finished with a matte varnish so this piece will stand the test of time.
